Oh luminous shadow!
your presence i adore.
For you stay, forever near,
and I cannot ask for more.
On gray mornings, whilst the sun sleeps,
wrapped in her aerial mold.
You turn a shade, lighter still,
and accompany me in the cold.
On restless nights, before the dawn,
beside me you lie.
Its been ever this, since i was born
and until the night I die.
But alas! As fate had deemed,
It’s another shadow I found.
One whose skin i can caress
an echo to my sound.
Oh luminous shadow!
your presence I did adore.
Though you’ve stayed forever near,
I need you no more.
